Isramerica – Greenwich High School – April 14, 2011
The meeting room at the Media Center of Greenwich High School is familiar to me as part of my job, such as my attendance (with a class) at this diversity week presentation. Though I have done art both inside and outside the school, these are the first works from this particular location. The 5 Israelis making up Isramerica are all now New York based; I do not believe they arrived as a group, but rather gravitated towards each other once establishing here. There wasn’t enough time to get the three singers. Just as well, they moved way too much (a good thing!), and from pretty close up.
