Pete Fornatale hosts Aztec Two-Step – Ossining Public Library – March 27, 2011
The run of new-to-me venues keeps going, and this place was packed! Interesting format: Aztec Two-Step doing their Simon & Garfunkel songbook show, hosted by Pete Fornatale. Pete, one of the original new-FM DJ’s from back in the day, has authored a short book, “Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends”; in this show, his recollected anecdotes of S&G’s early career meanderings were interspersed with ATS’s interpretations of the songs, weaving a charming narrative thread through the musical workmanship.
