Heron Island – August 13-17, 2011

Here I take a break from music sketches to present work from Australia.  Anya & Steve decide to get married on like the other side of the world, not even on the Australian mainland, but on Heron Island amid the Great Barrier Reef.  You could walk around this island in 20 minutes; no cars, no locked doors.  A great chance for me to binge out in watercolor, for which there seems to be woefully insufficient time during the school year.  Of course I put the date on only one painting, and now believe that it is incorrect!  One painting is thus far omitted, pending successful Photoshop manipulation.
