Eddie Kamae – Hawai‘i Convention Center – August 3, 2011
I was in Honolulu for the Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance conference. Effective conservation involves partnerships amongst those with common goals; thus, there was a blend of science, community activism, and the arts. The latter category included the screening of the DVD “Listen to the Forest”, produced by Hawai‘ian music old-timer Eddie Kamae. I was hoping he would play a short set with ukulele, but he only did one song. Oh well.
